| Viton™ fluoroelastomer is the most specified fluoroelastomer, well known for its excellent (400°F/200°C) heat resistance. Viton™ offers excellent resistance to aggressive fuels and chemicals. Viton™ rubber material is specified because there is a high temperature or corrosive environment in which the rubber must perform. Fluoroelastomer rubber is most frequently used in o-rings and other sealant type devices.
